Almost a solid year since my first massage with Jacob and my subsequent stellar review of him, our schedules finally meshed again and I was able to return for a reprise. About halfway through our 90-minute session, I said to him, “I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but you have improved!” Not that he needed to, mind you; it was simply magnificent and far better than I had remembered. His stretching techniques alone are worth his very reasonable asking price, and there’s a whole lot more to love than that. Jacob is also educated as an occupational therapist, so he really knows the human body and it shows in every aspect of his touch. His large, comfortable studio; his handsome physical presence; his soft-spoken, gentle manner; and his sheer strength make him one of Houston’s top choices for what I would term a superb thera-sensual massage. I shall return, and it will not take me a year to do so!

I’ve had 3 massage sessions with Jacob and each has been incredible. On first visit, Jacob asked about stress points and where I was in my general health. I immediately felt at ease with him and he worked his magic. Each time I’ve seen him, we have an update on how I am feeling. I intend to be a regular. If you are looking for a fantastic masseuse, Jacob is your go to guy. On a scale of 1 to 5, I give him a 5+++.

I read people by the aura and body language. Jacob gave me an immediate sense of confidence and trust.
For some therapist they get training and it is a job. For the rare few they have a gift and a talent to read the muscles and posture of the client and know what to do. After just a few minutes I knew I was in special hands and asked if he could extend the session. I was extremely pleased

Jacob is a master of his craft. There is a very spiritual aspect to his massage. The music guides us through a peaceful release of stored up energies and tensions. His energy feels safe which is good because as we use our body to store stress, it’s important to trust the facilitator that will cause those trigger points to be released. After a session with Jacob I feel more connected and more in line with my body. I make the promises to myself that I will do a better job to process experiences in ways that don’t cause them to leave residue in muscle tension, and I normally do better. I enjoy that I can incorporate Jacobs sessions into a total package for my spiritual, emotional, and physical well being. I didn’t get regular massages until my 40’s because I didn’t know any better. Now I make use of this great tool for being balanced. I’m glad Jacob has been a such a great guide for this part of my journey.

Where to even begin!! Jacob was very professional from the first moment I spoke with him about becoming a client. He was never overly pushy and was patient with me during my crazy schedule. Well, today I finally made it to his office and I can’t believe I waited this long. I have had many a massage, and Jacob gives one of the best – soft, but firm hands that got out all of the knots near upper back/shoulder area. He also knows exactly how to stretch overworked legs.

I had been stressed for quite a while, going through separation, anxious in general. I tried group talks -which only made me more apprehensive, tried church -which did bring peace, but anxiety always came back. I decided to to try a different approach and be good to my body.
I came across Jacob by chance and told me about massage. I decided to give it a try.
The moment he came in, he was polite, respectful, and all my self-consciousness went away. He asked to relax, did his set up, and did not comment about the precarious state of my apartment (depression and cleaning sometimes don’t go hand in hand).
He started the massage session with very melodious, relaxing music and put his limbs to good use.
During my session, he ensured I remained in a peaceful state, and continuously asked if I was alright.
After the session, I felt good about myself and felt energetic (the cleaning started). My skin was also radiant and soft for at least three days
All and all, I strongly recommend Jacob for your massage needs.

Jacob has a magic touch. I’ve been worked on by many massage therapists. Sometimes, when they massage the stress out of my tense shoulders and back, they leave me feeling beaten up. Not Jacob. He coaxes the tension out, and leaves me feeling rejuvenated. His unique stretching exercises are also a terrific way to release stress. Combine all that with Jacob’s charming bed side manner which makes you feel safe and puts you immediately at ease, and you get a superb massage that can’t be beat.

I am grateful that our paths crossed. I play a lot of cardio intensive sports. Jacob is great with stretching and doing a healing massage which I need to keep my muscles from getting tight and out of calibration. I am and will continue to be a repeat client!
